The Pennsylvania Department of State Parks operates over 300 cabins throughout the state, and each is equipped to provide you with a great vacation experience. Reservations may be made up to 11 months in advance of the day of arrival, and must be accompanied by a deposit equal to one-half (1/2) of the total rental fee. The deposit must be received by the Bureau of State Parks within ten days after making a reservation. The maximum occupancy of a cabin is limited to one family unit (persons living under the same household), or non-family units as determined by the number of beds in the cabin. Placing tents, campers, motorhomes or other vehicles of any kind outside cabins, cottages and yurts is prohibited. The PA State Park System is an all-season recreational area and cabins are available for rent from the beginning of April through October.
